What is the Whata Hakari?
The Whata Hakari is a divine Apostolic network exchange hub for kingdom economics enhanced through Kotahitanga (the Spirit of unity) and Manaakitanga (Spirit of blessing to others)
Its purpose; The establishment of Kingdom living on earth; for business, hapu, iwi, community and nations. Matt 6, Dan 7:22, Is 62:10
Isaiah 62:10 NKJV
Go through, Go through the gates! Prepare the way for the people; Build up, Build up the highway! Take out the stones, Lift up a banner for the peoples!
How does the Whata Hakari work?
Nga Whata means “many tables”. Each Whata - table represents a facet of societal makeup. Some of these include; Social, Cultural, Economic, Spiritual, Environmental.
The collective Whata are supported by a structural system of “A frames”. The A frames form partitions that span between each of the A frames.
This occurrence forms a repeated series of vertical columns (partitions) along the length of the Whata Hakari. A customary Maori value is assigned to each partition.

Once the visitors (manuhiri) have reconciled their aspiration/s on the Whata Atea and presented their koha offering to the Lord in Melchizedek Marae; they are invited at the discretion of Mi Kaitiaki stewards onto the Whata Hakari.
The manuhiri visitors having reconciled on the Whata Atea are invited to sign the MI Promissory Agreement outlining all MI terms and conditions (legally non binding agreement). Once signed the party/ies are invited to undertake business activity on the Whata Hakari.
The finalised kaupapa presents kawa and tikanga for kingdom economic reconciliation as a biblical model of kingdom living practice.
People, businesses, communities and nations are drawn to the Whata by the Holy Spirit working in and through peoples lives.
In traditional Maori custom, once the Whata Hakari was erected a first fruits offering would be laid to honour God for the Harvest of Kai food. The sign of this sacred undertaking was witnessed by all in attendance who could smell the beautiful aroma and see the wafts of smoke rising.
This anticipation drew everyone in proximity to the Whata for a festive banquet. Only the very best kai comprising veges was used in the first fruits hungi. Te haunga o te hangi.
Whata Hakari typically comprised of an assemblage of stacked tables on a intricate structural A frame type system resembling floors of a multi storey building! A large table area was often needed to host the vast quantities of kai to the feed the visitors. Only the best food was given in manaaki to the visiting part/ies. The kai was further arranged on the Whata according to function with the seeds and tubers of next season’s harvest reserved within the first partition of the Whata Hakari. It is unknown if the other partitions had specified functions.
